Well, it’s that for me again, time to be moving. I will be getting a new job, working at Yahoo! Japan starting from September 1st. So, I have moved and now live with Yukari and her family! On August 21st, I will power off my server and it won’t be back online until around September 1st or 2nd. It will still be accessible in some form, and we will make sure to put some new pictures during that time. It will be running on a backup server in Canada, so all my e-mail and stuff will still work. Well… that’s all for now. Perhaps I will make another post before I power it off. Also, comments and polls will not work from today to the end of the month. I’ll write more about my job another time, if anyone is interested.
Congratulations Jon! I’m just up in Mito, so we’ll have to get together for a few beers some time.

Actually, I’ve been working on a small side business that involves selling items in Japan to people in other parts of the world. You can see all the details about it at http://www.thejapanstore.com . A quick summary would be that you tell me what you are looking for, and I’ll see how much I can find it for and give you a quote. If you are interested in it, then you pay the price I quoted you and when I get the money I’ll go buy it and ship it to you.
Sometimes I can get it to for a decent price, sometimes it is cheaper to buy it from another place in your own country. But we don’t know until you tell me what you are looking for
Tokyo is a nice place to visit, but make sure to see other places like Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima as well if you come!
