I guess this is more for geeks… but I upgraded my server and have moved the website and database to the new server. Hopefully you will notice some speed improvements. Here are the stats on my new server: 2.4GHz Xeon (Hyper Threading enabled), 2GB of RAM, 2x37GB 10KRPM SCSI HD set up to use RAID-1. The old server was on a P3 550MHz with 128MB of RAM. The database would close, due to a lack of memory at times. So, now you won’t experience any of those problems! I’m also thinking of getting a 100Mbps up AND down fiber optic internet connection. It’s about $60/month.. now I’m paying $30/mon for a 26Mbps down/ 1Mbps up DSL connection.

Jon, You said "I guess this is more for geeks…" and yes it is! I have no idea what you are saying. I could understand a few sentences in the beginning and the ending! Other than that I have no idea! NFI:P Well I’ve never met anybody as big of a GEEK as you (That’s a compliment!) I used to get so jealous of your "computers" because when you use your computer and do some work on it you don’t hear anything what I say, You go like yeah… no…. so I sometimes get annoyed lol. But it’s okay! You could get a job in a nice Japanese company using your skill that you have studied for a long time. I’m very happy that you are a geek! And you can also fix my computer problems anytime I have. I don’t have to waste my money to go and get repair always. I am also getting better with computer! I bet people call me a geek to if they see what I do on the computer now! hehe. I have to learn more about computer from Jon so I can get better and better! What are you gonna teach me next, Jon?

Haha, yeah you are getting to be a geek! You can type in English faster than you can type in Japanese. And don’t worry, I’ll show you some more stuff! Then you can be a supergeek.

Life… is like a grapefruit. It’s orange and squishy, and has a few pips in it, and some folks have half a one for breakfast.
